Record the battery model, cell and BMS information available, firmware, enclosure, accessories and document revisions. Identify whether the sample is representative of the proposed production batch.
Agree measurable checks
Appearance, dimensions, labels, accessory count and communication can be checked against the order. Energy and current tests need agreed temperature, equipment, operating limits and acceptance criteria. Do not improvise high-current tests outside the supplier procedure.
Close the sample review
Keep a list of deviations and the supplier’s response. Approve changes explicitly before bulk ordering. Retain the accepted configuration and evidence so a later substitution can be identified.
