RESIDENTIAL SOLAR + STORAGE

Store daytime solar for evening use and backup.

Tell us how much electricity the home uses, which appliances must remain on and which inverter is installed. We will use those details to select a suitable battery capacity.

Graspmart 16.08 kWh residential LiFePO4 battery for home solar and backup
16.08 kWh · 51.2 V · 314 Ah battery. The inverter and installation equipment are selected separately.

Choose the main purpose

Use more solar at home

Store surplus PV energy during the day and use it in the evening. Send recent daily consumption and the PV array size.

Backup essential appliances

List the refrigerator, lighting, internet equipment, pumps and other required circuits, including their starting power.

Run an off-grid home

Size the battery, inverter, PV array and generator around winter solar conditions and the required days of autonomy.

Simple sizing example

If the required appliances average 2 kW for six hours, the AC load needs 12 kWh. Allowing for reserve and conversion losses, a 15 or 16 kWh battery is a practical starting point. The final choice also depends on peak power, temperature, battery settings and available solar energy.

This calculation estimates stored energy. It does not confirm that the inverter can start every appliance or power the whole house.

Information needed for a quotation

  • Delivery country and battery quantity
  • Daily and overnight electricity consumption
  • Essential loads, peak load and motor starting power
  • PV array size and local winter solar conditions
  • Exact inverter brand, model, phase and firmware
  • Required backup time, installation location and future expansion

What the proposal should identify

The proposal should name the battery model, voltage, current limits, dimensions, included cables and accessories, applicable documents, lead time, delivery term and warranty. PV panels, inverter, protection devices and installation are separate unless specifically included.

Questions homeowners and installers ask

Does a 15 kWh battery provide 15 hours of backup?

Only at an average load close to 1 kW, and actual runtime is lower after reserve, conversion losses, temperature and battery condition are considered. Use the measured load for sizing.

Can the battery work with my existing inverter?

The voltage window, current limits, CAN or RS485 protocol, cable pinout and firmware must match. Send the exact inverter model for checking.

Can the battery be installed outdoors?

Only when the quoted enclosure rating and installation instructions allow it. A covered, ventilated location may still be required. Confirm temperature, moisture and direct-sun exposure.

Can more batteries be added later?

Expansion depends on the battery model, batch, BMS, firmware, wiring and inverter limit. Ask about the approved parallel arrangement before the first order.
